How To Compare Yields Before and After Tax?

This tool is designed to enable investors to compare the before and after tax yield offered by the Gryphon Dividend Income Fund and an alternative fund/product.

TERMS OF REFERENCE

Gryphon Dividend Income Fund: the default yield is the current yield of the C-Class, but this can be adjusted to a selected rate for a customised comparison.

Money Market Fund: the default yield is the current yield of the Gryphon Money Market, but this can be adjusted to a selected rate for a customised comparison.

Individuals: default rate is 45%

Companies: default rate is 27%

Either of these can be adjusted to a selected rate for a customised comparison.

Dividend Withholding Tax is paid directly to SARS on the investor’s behalf. The default rate for individuals and trusts is 20%. This can be customised should exemptions or reduced rates apply.
